What can i do in-between classes to help my child?
Our lesson sheets have lovingly been created with both child and parent in mind. Lesson sheets are provided after each class. These sheets have simple instructions that a parent and child can easily do together.
How does the cost of Happy Piano compare to standard piano lessons?
The Happy Piano program taught in preschools is considerably less than what you would pay for standard piano lessons.
What makes this program so unique and why is so featured in a Music Conversatoty?
Piano itself in this age group requires a very unique curriculum to be effective. It would be nearly impossible to expect such a young child to sit at a piano for 30 minutes. The Conservatory of Music uses Happy Piano as a launching pad for children before starting conventional piano lessons at age 6 or 7.
What do children learn in these program?
In the piano program your child will learn to play familiar songs, about rhythm, and an impressive amount of music theory. We use original educational songs and share interactive stories and games to fully engage your child. Our multi-sensory approach helps children remember what they have learned. Also, being part of the Happy Piano team helps build social skills and self-confidence.
In the programs that do not include piano, children learn age appropriate music theory, songs, and various other emements.
